Warpface Lightning Pattern
The warpface lightning pattern is worked in a similar manner to the warpface diagonal patter, that is by passing the weft strand through the shed from one edge to the other. The difference is the weft strand has segments of different colors. The color change is achieved by interlocking the weft strand with a warp strand so that the weft strand becomes a warp strand and the warp strand becomes the weft strand.

The warpface lightning pattern can be worked from left hand side to the right hand side or from right hand side to the left hand side. If worked from the left to the right the lightning patter will slant to the right. If the worked from the right to the left the lightning patter will slant to the left.

Count the number of warp strands in the same direction that that the pattern is being worked.
