All Diagonally interlaced fingerweaving is made up of two layers of yarn strands that are diagonally interlaced in an over/under manner. One layer of yarn strands crosses the work on a diagonal from the right hand side to the left hand side. The second layer crosses the work on the opposite diagonal, left hand side to the right hand side.
Joining elements of diagonal interlaced fingerweaving that are of different colors provides an additional design options. A common use of this design element is to add borders to a workpiece.
